Discover upcoming programs designed to inspire young people to connect, contribute, and grow through community-focused projects and volunteer opportunities.

ABE & GED Program

Our ABE and GED program is designed to help individuals earn their high school equivalency diploma. Courses will be administered by two qualified educators. Our organization is seeking funding to provide stipends for program staff.

Computer Literacy Course

This course is designed for individuals new to computers. Participants will learn how to set up email accounts, type efficiently, and navigate the basic functions of a PC. Classes will be taught by one volunteer instructor and held twice a week.

Drama Course

Our drama program teaches the fundamentals of acting and modeling, helping participants build confidence and creativity.
Classes will be led by one volunteer instructor and held once a week.

Wellness Center

The Wellness Center promotes healthy living through nutrition education, fitness training, and access to exercise equipment including weights and treadmills. A certified fitness instructor will be available to assist participants. Free of charge for members of the community.

Music Recording & Engineering Class

This program offers underprivileged community members the opportunity to learn the art of recording music. Participants will gain hands-on experience with studio equipment and learn the fundamentals of music production. Open to all community members with a passion for music.

Auto Maintenance Course

This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of automobile repair and maintenance. Classes will be taught three days a week by a certified mechanic. Our organization is seeking funding to provide stipends for program staff.

Parole & Probation Satellite Office

To better serve residents of the West Englewood community, this satellite office will provide convenient access for individuals on parole or probation to meet with their agents locally.

Community Food Pantry

Our organization will operate a food pantry to support local families, welfare recipients, and orphans within the community.
Residents must register with the organization and provide household details and proof of residency to determine the appropriate food box size.
